This is my first blog post, and I think what I wanna do here is highlight a few of my favorite indie music projects! Specifically, albums made by furry musicians.

First up, TRAVELER: ACT I by Melodinumbra! This album is made up of 22 songs that come together in track order to tell a dystopic story. Since the album contains so many songs, it covers a lot of different genres: hardwave, neotrance, cyberpunk, wave phonk, and more inbetween! I love the absolute energy and vibe with this album so much, and the Traveler storyline is so intriguing! I think my favorite track is either VISIONARY or GATEWAY.

My next favorite is definitely Grief Counseling by Everender! This one is an extremely raw but therapeutic emo rock/pop punk project about living as a transgender person. As said by Everender themselves about this album: "Grief is not defeat." I love that quote, and it's so fitting... My favorite track is definitely To This Body I Am Bound.

Another favorite of mine is ANOTHER by hi i'm Case! This pop punk/indie rock album is all about relationships, which can definitely be messy but rewarding. And queer love especially can be complex but incredibly comforting! My favorite track is a tie between Another Summer and Disaster!

Ah, here's a classic banger, Sad, Drunk and Needy by WHSPRS! I love this pop punk adventure through online/long distance relationships in VR. Quite the unique concept for an album, but I think the market for this type of song is definitely growing, considering how small the world is getting. My favorite track is either Fox Boy or How To Get Over Somebody... I can't pick between them!
I think that's all I've got for this post... but there will most definitely be more artist/project features like this in this blog's future! I just don't want to cram too much into one sitting; I want all my posts here to be heartfelt and genuine! So when I'm running low on energy, I'll just go ahead and "sign out" for the day (or night). Thank you for checking out my blog, and I hope you come back to read some more soon!
